RE: Notice of Conditional Use Hearing
Dear Members of the Board of Supervisors:
The Mount Joy Township Board of Supervisors, Adams County, Pennsylvania, (“Township”), will hold a public hearing to consider and act upon the Conditional Use Application of Hoffman Homes Orphanage, a/k/a Hoffman Homes, Inc. (“Applicant”). Applicant intends to expand its preexisting nonconforming use of property located in the Township at 815 Orphanage Road, Littlestown, PA 17340, Parcel ID No. 30H17-0009—000 (“Property”) by adding learning centers and an instructional kitchen on the upper level of an existing building on the Property and adding three traditional classrooms to the lower level of that building. The Property is located in the Township’s Agricultural Conservation (AC) Zoning District.
The date, time and place of hearing will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Mount Joy Township Building, 902 Hoffman Home Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
