Adams County Recycling and Waste Management Information – Resources & Contacts
Trash Pick-up: The Township does not have contracted trash service. However, there are several private companies that offer trash collection services for residents. You are free to choose a provider that best meets your needs for trash pickup. Please be sure to contact the companies directly to arrange for service and to inquire about their schedules and pricing.

Election & Voter Registration

Mount Joy township’s polling place is located at the township office for both Primary and General election. Polling places are open for in person voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on election day. Mount Joy township is divided into two districts.

District #1: residents that live north of Route 97/Baltimore Pike, this includes Lake Heritage
District #2: residents that live north of Route 97/Baltimore Pike, including the Links at Gettysburg
