Who We Are

The Board of Supervisors meet the fourth Wednesday every month at 6PM. The BOS will also hold a Workshop, as needed, on the third Wednesday of the month.

The Planning Commission is an advisory board responsible for the review of development applications to insure consistency with the subdivision and land develop ordinance (SALDO) and Comprehensive Plan. The Commission meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7PM, as needed.

A quasi judicial board that reviews zoning requests for variances and special exceptions and ensures consistency with the Municipal Planning Code (MPC) and the zoning ordinance of the Township.

The York Adams Tax Bureau is the appointed collector of Earned Income Tax (EIT) for the two school districts that are in Mount Joy: Gettysburg Area School District and the Littlestown Area School District
