The Watershed Alliance of Adams County (WAAC) is a member based, non-profit organization whose goals include:

As a way of meeting those goals, WAAC is committed to planting riparian buffers and other tree planting projects. WAAC works with the Adams County Conservation District and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to provide several option to Adams County land owners interested in planting trees. Some of these option include free trees. If you are a willing landowner, please call Joan Horak, WAAC VP at (717)357-9727 to get details of the planting requirements and to be considered for one of WAAC’s planting projects.
